at twelve years old my parents finally trusted me enough to let me explore my artistic endeavors with oil paint and with that i learned more about color theory and how to make the most out of the 4 tubes of paint that i had.
I practiced patience for it to dry, discipline to continue painting and the skill of blending oil colors

ego of a lion tamer

The act of a lion tamer inserting their head into a lion's mouth is a well-known risky circus tradition. This piece captures the demise of the lion tamer being eaten by the carnivore as his karma, since the lion is subject to imprisonment for the entertainment of others.

past lives

as a joke i painted my brother as a tree because he was gloating about how generous and wise he is; he was a tree in a past life (his words)
and when i asked my sister what she thinks she was in a past life she said “a hospital bed, wait no, a chair”.
